Tekno reconciles with Danfo Drivers after copyright theft accusations
Twenty four hours after the pair of Mountain Black and Mad Melon (real names Jimoh Olotu and Omeofa Oghene respectively), of the ‘Danfo Drivers’ fame accused Tekno of sampling one of their songs without permission, the Triple MMMG acts has moved to reconcile with the pair.
The move by Tekno who shared a photo of himself alongside Mountain Black and Mad Melon on his Instagram page came after the music executive of Tripple MMMG Ubi Franklin reacted to the drama on Instagram, claiming they tried to reach out to the music veterans before sampling the song but couldn’t get across to them.

The pair of Mountain Black and Mad Melon better known by their hit single ‘I am a Danfo Driver and Suo’ said in an interview with Wazobia TV that Tekno’s latest song titled ‘Jogodo’ is a sample of their 2008 song titled ‘Kpolongo’.
They also said during the interview that they have come to Lagos to hunt for Tekno and collect the money/royalties he owes them for sampling their song without permission.
But all the drama seems to be over now after Tekno reached out to the pair with an olive branch.
