Argentina international and former Manchester United and Man City star, Carlos Tevez has signed a deal to move to Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua, to earn £615,000-a-week.

Some of his new team-mates include former Premier League strikers Demba Ba and Obafemi Martins, as well as former Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin.

The weekly pay of Tevez makes him the highest-paid footballer in the world, and also the second highest-paid sportsperson in the world.

It’s also worthy of note that his new club Shenhua finished fourth in the Super League last season – 16 points behind league champions Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao.
