The kid in Wizkid

Published

on

When not releasing hit songs and keeping his fans happy on stage, Wizkid seems to have a knack for engaging in social media quarrels with his intermittent buddies.
He had barely exhaled after his war of words with upcoming star, Saeon when he tumbled headlong into another fight with Skales, his former label mate.
And Skales’ girlfriend is helping him on this one. She is not leaving him to face Wizkid alone. But the question she threw at Wizkid is yet unanswered. “Can you afford a girl like me?”
The thing is no one is sure if she meant whether she was for sale and Skales happens to be the highest bidder. Clarification might present itself in Wizkid’s answer, if he replies her at all.
Basketmouth simply took a friendly jab at Wizkid hours ago by uploading a photo on Instagram of himself shopping in a Kiddies outlet and captioned it: After Wizkid blessed my stage with a great performance, it’s only proper for me to do a bit of shopping for him @wizkidayo
thanks bro. baske… •
Though it sounds friendly, it may also be a well-thought out way Basketmouth wants to use to caution Wizkid on his childish behaviour on social media, because the dirty and annoying fight between him and Skales is nothing but childish.
No wonder Banky W totally ignored them and went to London for his business. It is only 2Face that bothered to wade in with just few cautionary words, while Basketmouth threw in a yabis.
It may also be that people are getting tired of Wizkid’s social media tantrums or fights. There is a long list of people he had face-offs with in social media, even Banky W once exchanged punches with him. People are also wondering who is next on his firing line.
