There is no point dialoguing with the deaf, Moghalu on why he won’t talk about Nigerian economy
Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Kingsley Moghalu, has given reasons why he has refused invitations and requests from media houses to discuss the country’s economy over the past several months.
Moghalu who is a political economist and former Presidential Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), took to his official X handle on Tuesday to explain that there was no point in a dialogue of the deaf, which many believe is insinuating that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is not ready to pay any attention to his ideas.
Moghalu stated that all the ideas and suggestions he had shared in the past on how to fix the Nigerian economy have fallen on deaf ears.
“I’ve declined virtually all requests for interviews on the Nigerian economy from Nigerian media over the past several months. Why? There is no point in a dialogue of the deaf. I’ve already spoken a lot about how to fix Nigeria’s economy. Anyone interested can find what I’ve said,” he wrote.
