Enugu: Ugwuanyi gets it
The PDP candidate in Unugu State,Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has won with 482,277 votes against his main challenger of the APC Okey Ezea who polled a mere 43,839 votes.
Returning officer of the election, Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, Prof. Hillary Edoga, announced the result precisely at 3.36PM.
Wild jubilation has trailed the result of the election as announced by INEC as residents made burn fire at strategic streets in Enugu metropolis.
Meanwhile, the APC candidate had while addressing newsmen in a briefing called for outright cancellation of the result.

Incumbent governor and APC governorship candidate in Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has been declared winner of the election. See final results below:

Adamawa: Ribadu gives in to APC’s Bindow
PDP’s governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu on Sunday conceded defeat to Sen. Jibrilla Bindow of the APC.
Addresssing people of the state, former EFCC boss said he took his loss in good faith because leadership is a product of God’s anointment.
He said: “I came into this race knowing fully well that political contests are two-way traffics – one either wins or loses. As a man of faith, I was also aware that leadership responsibility is a product of God’s anointment”.
He added: “I came into this race with lofty dreams and clear vision for our dear state, but the voice of the majority has not given me this chance. I take this in good faith.
“I want to take this opportunity to congratulate the winner and pray that at the end of it all our dear state will witness the needed progress and development it so much desires.”
Gombe: Dankwambo survives, returns for second term
INEC announced that Gov. Ibrahim Dankwambo retains his Gombe State position after polling 285,369 votes to beat APC’s Inuwa Yahaya who polled 205,132 votes.
Udom Emmanuel wins Akwa Ibom
PDP’s Udom Emmanuel wins Akwa Ibom governorship poll with 996,071 votes, ahead of APC’s Umana Okon Umana who got 89,865.

In Kaduna, Yero concedes, congratulates El-Rufai
Kaduna State Governor and candidate of the PDP governorship candidate in Saturday’s election, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has conceded defeat and called up the likely winner, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of APC, to congratulate him.
Spokesperson of El-Rufai Campaign Organisation, Samuel Aruwan, disclosed that Yero called at about 3:00pm on Sunday, even when results from four local government areas were still being expected from the Independent National Electoral Commission’s headquarters in Kaduna.
Aruwan said, “He (Governor Yero) congratulated El-Rufai and wished him success, he prayed for peace and development of Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
“El-Rufai in his response thanked Yero and wished him all the best, saying, he hoped to see him soon.”
Amosun is winner in Ogun
Incumbent governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has been declared winner of the governorship election in the state.
He captured 11 of the 20 local government areas in the state, scoring a total of 306, 988 votes. While his closest rival, Gboyega Isiaka won in nine local government areas with 201, 440 votes, the SDP candidate, Senator Kamarudeen Odunsi, got 25, 826 votes
