Though discharged and acquitted, Ofili-Ajumogobia to be arraigned by EFCC today

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will today arraign former Federal High Court Judge, Justice Rita Ngozi Ofili-Ajumogobia before a Federal High Court in Lagos.

Although Justice Hakeem Oshodi in his ruling on Tuesday discharged and acquitted Ajumogobia of corruption charges brought against her, she was immediately whisked away by the operatives of the agency and will be in the dock today for fresh corruption charges.

It was gathered that she would be arraigned before Justice Rilwan Aikawa of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, on an 18-count charge bordering on corruption and money laundering.
