Thousands march through Morocco streets over arrest of activist
The arrest and detention of activist Nasser Zefzafi by authorities has forced thousands of protesters who have thronged the streets of the northern Moroccan city of Al-Hoceima demanding his release.
According to reports, riot police were involved in a tense stand-off with protesters, but later retreated as protesters rallied after Zefzafi was arrested on Monday.

The well-known activist who has been charged with threatening national security was arrested after he organised months of protests against unemployment and corruption.
Morocco has been gripped by demonstration since the death of a fishmonger in Al-Hoceima in October.
