Three dead, 2 injured in Pakistan auto accident

At least three people died and two others were injured in an accident on a motorway near Islamabad, Pakistan, on Wednesday.

Police said in a statement on Thursday that the accident happened near a toll plaza on the M1 motorway where an explosion occurred in a passenger van.

“Preliminary reports suggest the accident occurred due to a cylinder burst.

“The deceased and injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital,” the statement read.
