Three motorbike riders killed in road accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway

Three commercial motorcycle riders were on Monday killed on the Long Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway when they hit by a white Hilux van with the number plate, GGE960DD.

An eyewitness said some mobile policemen who were in the Hilux van fled the scene after the incident.

The eyewitness said: “When it (accident) happened, the policemen ran out of the vehicle and jumped off the bridge and ran away. No one could catch them.”

The incident was confirmed by men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) who were at the scene of the crash.

Several commercial motorbike operators at the scene of the incident were heard threatening to burn the Hilux for causing the accident.
