Three suspects arrested in connection with death of One Direction band member Liam Payne
The police in Buenos Aires, Argentina have arrested three suspects in connection with the death of One Direction band member Liam Payne who fell to his death from his hotel balcony.
Two of the arrested suspects—one of whom was allegedly a hotel employee—are charged with providing and enabling the drugs, while the other one is charged with abandonment.
The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office has charged one of the singer’s companions with drug supply and facilitation as well as abandonment followed by death.
This comes days after it was revealed that Liam Payne sustained serious injuries including a fractured skull after falling to his death from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday, October 16.

‘’According to the emergency medical team sent to the scene he had a fracture in the base of his skull, extremely serious injuries,’ Mr Crescenti said.
He also told TN television that Payne was dead when paramedics arrived, adding: ‘Our role was to head there quickly, give medical attention, and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were incompatible with life.’
The singer fell from a third-floor suite with a balcony overlooking an interior pool and the hotel’s on-site Michelin-star restaurant where he landed in the courtyard.
