Thugs attack Oke’s supporters

Published

Two members of the Alliance for Democracy in Ondo State sustained serious injuries after they were attacked in Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of the state.

The two victims, Sunday Akadiri and Adeniran Adeyemi, were reportedly pasting posters of the AD governorship candidate, Olusola Oke, when they were allegedly attacked by some men suspected to be political thugs.

Akadiri, who was receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, where he was rushed to after the attack, alleged that his attackers were supporters of the governorship standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN). But the Akeredolu campaign organisation denied this.
