Tinubu, Osinbajo must leave APC, says Adebanjo

Elder statesman and Afenifere Leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, has challenged the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and the All Progressives Congress (APC), National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to pull out of the APC having been “used and dumped” by the party and President Muhammadu Buhari, whom they helped into power.

In an exclusive interview with Sunday Telegraph, Adebanjo said since President Buhari has failed to fulfil all his pre-election promises to the South-West, who were moved to vote for the APC and the President, the most auspicious thing to do for Tinubu was to pull out from the government.

“What can we say other than for the same Tinubu, who took us there to take us out? Has he asked the Vice President to resign? I don’t look favourably at Tinubu for still keeping the ACN in the APC; what have we got out of it? The fact that he is sidelined is known. What could be keeping him there? A party which he helped to put into office is now doing things against its own people- what a world?”
