Tiwa Savage advocates strong relationship between artistes and their fans

Singer Tiwatope Savage Tiwa Savage has advised artistes to cultivate close bonds with their fans.

In a recent episode of the podcast “Shopping The Sneakers,” the mother of one argued that musicians who build close bonds with their fans can also make ties in other spheres of their lives.

She noted that musicians’ success is not solely based on music; their fanbase and brand are also important. She cited Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy as examples of artists who established relationships with their fans.

“It’s not just about the music; it’s your fanbase and brand. You’ve got to think of your fashion. You’ve got to be relatable. A lot of times, artists are just putting out music; they are not connecting with the fans.

“I think it’s really important to connect with the fans. If you look at Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, they have established relationships with their fanbases. They love their lifestyles.

”Whether they are dropping a song or not, they are in the conversation. So it’s really important to build a fanbase. You are only good as strong as your team,” the singer noted.
