Tonto Dikeh denies dating ex-Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi (Video)

Controversial Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has denied a report by a popular newspaper that she may have found love again with ex-Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi.

The newspaper had reported that Tonto who was spotted on a dinner date with Amokachi may have been overwhelmed with the experience as she simply showed that she is in love again.

However, the actress denied the reports in an interview with Elsie Godwin of PLUS TV Africa, revealing that she is just friends with Amokachi and the two of them were just signed as Ambassadors of a Chinese Restaurant in Nigeria.

She said the pictures and videos of both of them circulating online were just promotional footage for the brand.

“He is married and has children, we are ambassadors for a new restaurant, the biggest Chinese restaurant in Africa, which is opening in Nigeria, so we were filming, hence the photos and dance,” she said.

Many misinterpreted the actress when she posted the promotional footage of the video with the caption; “#THEBULL X #KINGTONTO”

Posting another photo, Dikeh said: “DINNER WITH THE BULL at the newest/Best Chinese restaurant in town.”

Amokachi then replied her comment by saying: “Was a pleasure hanging out with The King @tontolet It was a good shoot… keep representing.”
