Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala has won the best striker award in the Chinese women’s league after ending the season as the highest goal scorer in the league.
The 23-year old, who helped her team Dalian Quanjian to win the Chinese Super Cup and league titles, scored a total of 12 goals in the league.
At the Super Cup last Tuesday, Oshoala scored twice and registered two assists as Dalian trounced Shanghai 5–3 to clinch the title.
After receiving the award, Oshoala took to her Twitter handle and captioned some photos, “All GOLD everything!! 2017 Chinese women’s league award, BEST STRIKER OF THE SEASON (Top Scorer) …. #GoldenGirl #Buzzing Alhamdulilah.”
Oshoala, who was part of the Nigerian team that won the last edition of the African Women Cup of Nations, is the reigning Africa Women’s player of the year,
She joined Dalian Quanjian from Arsenal Ladies on 10 February 2017.
