Tottenham wallop Man Utd as Liverpool spank Stoke

Tottenham Hotspur kept up the pressure on rivals Leicester City with a 3-0 win over Manchester United. The game looked like it would end in stalemate for most of the game but six crazy second half minutes gave Spurs all three points.

Dele Alli opened the scoring in the 69th minute after being put through by Christina Eriksen. Toby Alderweireld made it 2-0 four minutes later with a powerful header.

And Lamela applied the icing on the cake with a left footed finish to ruin Louis Van Gaal’s day.

Meanwhile, Divock Origi scored a brace, while Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge were on target as Liverpool thumped Stoke 4-1 at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s side went into the game on the back of their 1-1 draw at Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday.

However they showed no signs of fatigue as Moreno put them ahead early on, only for Bojan to level for Mark Hughes’ side.
