Tourist boat mishap claims 17 lives in USA
Tragedy struck in the US state of Missouri, when an amphibious boat carrying tourists capsized claiming no less than 17 lives.
Reports say the incident which is one of the deadliest tourist incidents in the country in years, happened during a stormy weather.
According to Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader, the vessel was carrying 31 people when it capsized while sailing on Table Rock Lake, near the town of Branson.

Rick Kettels, owner of a local business on the shores of the lake, revealed that the storm appeared out of nowhere.
“It just came up real quick,” he said.
“I’ve been here most of my life and I never saw a storm this bad.”
The National Transportation Safety Board and US Coast Guard are investigating the incident, officials said.
