Pandemonium struck in the Ikom area of Cross River State when the decomposing bodies of a family of eight were found lifeless in their apartment after suspectedly inhaling generator fumes.
Residents of the area identified the victims as refugees who had fled Cameroon following the trouble in their area after crossing the border.

Reports say local authorities have evacuated the bodies of the victims as investigation into the matter has been launched.
