Trapped Thai football team practicing with diving masks

Thai officials have revealed that the trapped football team are now practicing wearing dive masks in a bid to hasten their extraction from the cave.

A new video footage of the Thai football team trapped deep inside a cave shows the boys laughing and saying they are doing well, 11 days after they went missing.

A video posted on the Facebook page of the Thai navy SEALs on Wednesday depicts the pale, thin boys, many of them wrapped in foil warming blankets, introducing themselves and saying they are “in good health”.

The football team and their coach trapped in the cave located in the northern part of the country are been giving crash courses in swimming and diving.

The crash course according to reports are part of preparations to extract the young soccer squad trapped in the cave as rescue teams are keen to end the harrowing 11-day ordeal experienced by the boys.

Reports say a team of divers, medics, counsellors and Thai navy SEALS are with the 12 schoolboys and their 25-year-old coach, providing medicines and food while experts assessed conditions for getting them out of the cave.
