Tribunal upholds Amosun’s election

The governorship election tribunal sitting in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Friday, upheld the election of Senator Ibikunle Amosun as the Ogun State governor.

The tribunal, in its judgement, threw out the petition of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Gboyega Isiaka, challenging the election of Amosun.

The tribunal held that Isiaka’s petition lacked merit.
