Trump suggests Saudi crown prince had a hand in Khassoghi's murder as victim's body parts are found

US President Donald Trump has suggested for the first time that Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman may have had a hand in the murder of journalist, Jamal Khashoggi.

Trump made the suggestion during an interview with the Wall Street Journal, when he was asked about the powerful crown prince’s possible involvement in the assassination.

“Well, the prince is running things over there more so at this stage. He’s running things and so if anybody were going to be, it would be him,” the president responded.

In a related development, body parts of the slain journalist were found in the premises of a Saudi national.

Sources told Sky News that the 59-year-old Washington Post columnist had been “cut up” and his face was “disfigured”.

New York Post reports that an unstated source told Sky News that Khashoggi’s remains were found in the garden of the Saudi consul general’s home.
