The arrest of the suspects is coming a day after Turkish police released the identity of the main suspect involved in the New Year’s Eve attack on the popular nightclub which claimed the lives of 39 people and wounded several others.

Now at large, the suspect is thought to be from a Central Asian nation and the police are now on his trail after he slipped from the scene of the attack on Sunday, taking advantage of the chaos that ensued after he opened fire.
