Twin blasts rock Maiduguri, 10 killed, dozens injured

A twin blast in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital on Saturday, has led to the death of at least 10 people with no less than 25 others injured.

According to reports, the first blast occurred in front of the Bakkasi Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp along Maiduguri-Damboa road at about 7.24am while the second bomb exploded in front of the NNPC depot also along the same route.

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA also disclosed that about 24 people were injured in the blasts.

Ambulances were said to have been evacuating victims out of the area while security operatives have also taken over the area.

    Boko haram should not start their disastrous acts again o. At least we have experience relative peace in Maiduguri for like months now. Enough is enough.

    Are they saying no one died except people who sustained injuries?
    That is blatant lies. Boko haram are devils .

      They sed 10 people died 25 injured or didn’t you see what they wrote. God should help us in the hand of boko haram

    Boko haram terrorist have started again. Truthfully, I dnt think they ever stopped bombing places and people. The media only stopped reporting their activities, making it look like they had finally stopped terrorizing the country
