Two Kenyan men sentenced to death for killing 4 cops

A Kenyan court has sentenced Jabiri Ali Dzuya and Bwana Mkuu Alwan who were members of the Mombasa Republican Council (MRC), to death for killing four policemen on the eve of the 2013 national elections.

According to prosecutors the convicts were members of the Mombasa Republican Council (MRC), a movement which campaigns for the independence of Kenya’s coastal region.

While in court, both men denied the charge before them but the judge at Mombasa’s high court, Martin Muya, said there was enough evidence to show they had “brutally murdered the four officers on duty” at the time.
