U-23 AFCON: Nampiandraza to officiate Nigeria, Algeria final

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Malagasy referee, Hamada El Moussa Nampiandraza, as the centre referee to officiate the final match between Nigeria and Algeria billed for the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium, Dakar on Saturday.

Nampiandraza will be assisted by Yahaya Mahamadou (Niger) and Olivier Safari Kabene (DR Congo) with Moroccan Redouane Jiyed as fourth official.

The 31-year old will be in charge of arguably the biggest game of his career since turning international in 2010.

His previous matches at the tournament was at the group phase; Mali against Nigeria (2-3) and South Africa versus Tunisia (1-0), both at the Caroline Faye Stadium, M’Bour.
