Uche Okagbue named coach of FC IfeanyiUbah

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, FC IfeanyiUbah have named Uche Okagbue as their new head coach.

Okagbue, who was an assistant to Ladan Bosso last season, will now be overseeing the affairs of the team.

Three seasons ago, Okagbue orchestrated the promotion of Remo Stars FC to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Okagbue is a former player in the Nigerian league. He played for Bendel Insurance and Julius Berger.

He also played as a professional footballer in the Oman top-flight league.

His new appointment means he will be leading a club in the NPFL for the very first time.

Meanwhile, a big task awaits him as he would be putting together a squad capable of challenging for honours next season following the departure of several key players of IfeanyiUbah.
