UCL: Batshuayi, Lukaku, Neymar score as Chelsea stun Atletico, Man United conquer Moscow, PSG rattle Bayern​

Premier League champions, Chelsea, snatched a dramatic victory against Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid, to maintain their 100% start in Champions League.

The match, played at the Estadio Metropolitano in Spain on Wednesday night, was heading to a 1-1 draw before substitute Michy Batshuayi grabbed the winner with the last kick of the game.

The home side had taken the lead through Antoine Griezmann’s penalty on 40th minute, but Alvaro Morata levelled both sides on the hour mark, before Batshuayi fired home in stoppage time to give Chelsea a deserved victory.

In the Group C’s other game, AS Roma defeated Qarabag 2-1, which takes Chelsea top of the group on 6 points ahead of the Italians on 4 points; while Atleti stay 3rd on one point.

In Moscow, Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku scored twice to help Manchester United thrash CSKA 4-1 to stay top of Group A, as Basel destroyed Benfica 5-0.

Lukaku headed in a cross from Anthony Martial in the 4th minute to put the visitors ahead, before Martial converted a penalty after Henrikh Mkhitaryan was brought down to double their lead.

Thanks to a defensive error from the hosts, Lukaku tappedin very easily his second of the night to keep the Red Devils 3-0 up at halftime.

Mkhitaryan added the fourth from close range after the break, before Konstantin Kuchaev slid in a well-taken consolation on 90 minutes.

Elsewhere, Paris St-Germain outgunned Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, in a heavyweight Champions League showdown.

The French giants thumped their visitors 3-0 to go three points clear at the top of Group B, as Scottish champions, Celtic, stunned their Belgian counterparts, Anderlecht, 3-0 in the group’s other game.

Dani Alves fired the hosts into the lead after just 84 seconds following a great run and pass by Neymar.

It was Neymar who later completed the scoring when he finished off Kylian Mbappe’s fantastic attacking display in the 63rd minutes after Edinson Cavani’s shot had doubled their lead on the half hour mark.

Italian champions, Juventus, took a long time to break down Olympiakos in their first home game of the season’s Champions league, but secured a 2-0 win over the Greek side.

Substitute Gonzalo Higuain came off the bench to score in the 69th minute before helping to create another for Mario Mandzukic, who grabbed the second on 80 minutes.

In Portugal, an own goal by Sporting Lisbon defender, Sebastian Coates, was enough to earn Barcelona a second Champions League victory.

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both wasted excellent chances in the opening 45 minutes, but the win puts the Spanish giants atop the group D on 6 points ahead of the Sporting,Juventus and Olympiacos in that order.

Meanwhile, Messi made his 593rd Barcelona appearance in the game, which ties him third with Carles Puyol on the club’s all-time list.
