UCL PLAYOFFS: Sevilla, Napoli, Celtic reach group stage

La Liga: Sevilla held by Sporting, Madrid on top as Barca continue chase

La Liga giants, Sevilla, Serie A side, Napoli, Scottish champions, Celtic, and Greek side, Olympiacos, have booked their tickets for the UEFA Champions League group stages.

They advanced after winning on aggregate following the second leg of their respective playoffs on Tuesday night.
Sevilla survived a major scare as their 2-2 home draw with Istanbul Basaksehir gave them a 4-3 aggregate win.
Napoli beat Nice 2-0 on the night, 4-0 on aggregate, while Olympiakos won 1-0 at Croatian side HNK Rijeka to progress 3-1 on aggregate.

Maribor edged through on away goals with a 1-0 win over Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
Despite their 4-3 defeat away, Celtic also made it through earlier on Tuesday with an 8-4 aggregate victory over Astana.

The remaining playoffs will be played on Wednesday night, while the group stage fixtures will be drawn on Thursday.
The League will then kick off on September 12.
