UCL: Spurs fight back to keep hopes alive; Barca held at Inter, Atletico win

English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) came from a goal down to beat PSV Eindhoven and keep their Champions League hopes alive.

The game played at Wembley saw the host trailing from the 2nd minute into the game after Luuk de Jong scored to put PSV ahead.

But England striker, Harry Kane equalised in the 78th minute and then had a hand in the winner as he forced an own goal off Trent Sainsbury in the 89th minute.

Spurs were on the brink of elimination at the group stage, having lost to Inter Milan and Barcelona before drawing with PSV away, but kept hopes alive with Tuesday’s victory.

In the game of the group, Inter Milan held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw, as an 87th-minute goal by Mauro Icardi cancelled Malcom’s 83rd-minute opener.

Barcelona have now qualified for the knockout stage with two games to spare, having garnered 10 points from four games.

Inter remain second in Group B, three points ahead of Tottenham.

In Spain, Atletico Madrid eased past Dortmund as they won 2-0 over the German Bundesliga side, while Monaco crashed out of the Champions League after falling 4-0 at home to Club Brugge.

French side Paris St-Germain played 1-1 with Napoli, after Liverpool crashed 2-0 against Red Star Belgrade.

With the results, Napoli have displaced Liverpool at the top of the Group.

In Group D, Porto qualified for the knocout stages after they thrashed Lokomotiv Moscow 4-1, while Schalke beat Galatasaray 2-0.
