UK cops nab sixth suspect in connection with London train tube explosion

A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested by the police in the UK in connection with the last underground tube bombing in the south-west of London which injured no less than 29 people.

Reports say the male suspect was nabbed under section 41 of the Terrorism Act after police served a warrant at an address in Thornton Heath, and began a search of the property.

The arrest is coming less than a day after a 48-year-old man and a 30-year-old man were arrested in Newport, South Wales, when officers executed a warrant at the address where the two men were located.

A 25-year-old man was arrested Tuesday evening, also in Newport, at a different address.

Recall that the unexpected explosion at the Parsons Green Underground station in the southwest of the capital, London, occurred on the 15th of September inside a packed rush-hour commuter train.

The UK has witnessed a series of attacks this year, with the bombing of a concert in Manchester in May, a stabbing spree around the London Bridge area in June and a March attack in which a man drove a car into crowds on Westminster Bridge.
