UK Parliament attacker linked to Nigeria

Investigations into the identity of the London Parliament attacker, reveals that Khalid Masood (the suspect) has a Nigerian step-father who lives with his mother in the tiny village of Trelech, Carmarthenshire, with a population 745.

Reports say Khaleed was born as Adrian Russel, but later adopted his mother’s husband’s surname, Ajao.

His step-dad is identified as 77-year-old Mr. Philip Ajao, who is believed to be of Nigerian background while the attacker’s mother, Janet Ajao, spends her time listening to classical music with her husband.

Khaleed was killed when he severely stabbed a policeman after a grey 4×4 he was driving mowed over 10 pedestrians on Westminster Bridge causing severe injuries to the victims.

Police sources say five people, including the attacker, were killed after the assailant ploughed a car into pedestrians and went on a stabbing spree before being shot dead just metres away from the British Parliament.

London Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley said investigators suspect the attacker had been “inspired by international terrorism”.

ISIS also known as Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) said the attack was a response to its call on faithful to launch attacks on civilians and security forces in countries involved in the US-led coalition bombing its territories in Syria and Iraq.

According to a statement published by the group’s Amaq propaganda agency, a “soldier of the Islamic State” had carried out the atrocity by the Houses of the UK Parliament.
