Undergraduate stabbed to death in Kogi

A 300-Level student of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Kogi State University (KSU), Ayingba, Ali Shariff, has been allegedly stabbed to death.

The Nation learnt that he was allegedly killed by a 100-Level student, identified as Yusuf, aka Santa Cruise, of the Department of Public Administration.

A source said the deceased, who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, the day he died, was reportedly killed when he attempted to mediate in a quarrel between Yusuf and another student.

The source said the incident occurred about 4 pm, in front of the school gate, close to the deceased’s home.
