UPDATE... 22 persons rescued from collapsed building in Lagos

Following the collapse of a three storey building at Ita Faji, on Lagos Island on Wednesday, latest updates show that a total of 22 persons have been rescued from the scene so far.

At least 12 people have been confirmed dead.

It was gathered that the three-storey building, which housed a primary school on the ground floor collapsed around 10am.

Efforts are currently in place by emergency services to ensure the rescue of other victims.
