US House Chairman wants Mueller to probe Trump's Deutsche Bank link

US. Representative Adam Schiff wants an immediate probe into US President Donald Trump’s link with Deutsche Bank.

Schiff who also doubles as the Democratic chairman of the US House Committee said he is worried that Special Counsel Robert Mueller may not be investigating Trump’s ties with the bank.

Last week, Schiff announced a wide investigation into Trump’s campaign teams attempt to influence the 2016 presidential election as well as financial dealings including “credible reports of money laundering and financial compromise”, related to Trump’s dealings.

“If the special counsel hasn’t subpoenaed Deutsche Bank, he can’t be doing much of a money-laundering investigation,” Schiff said.

“So that’s what concerns me, that red line has been enforced, whether by the deputy attorney general or by some other party at the Justice Department. But that leaves the country exposed,” Schiff said.
