US judge temporarily stops Trump's asylum policy

The executive order put in place by the administration of the number one citizen of the US President Donald Trump which denies the possibility of asylum to people who enter the US illegally has been temporarily barred by a district judge in America.

The order was suspended by judge Jon Tigar in San Francisco who issued a temporary restraining order against the asylum rules which takes place with immediate effect nationwide.

However, the restraining order will last until at least December 19 when the judge scheduled a hearing to consider a more long-lasting injunction.

Hundreds of Salvadoran migrants and refugees fleeing poverty and violence, have began their journey to the US-Mexico border despite obvious threats.

Reports say nearly 250 Salvadorans form the latest caravan of migrants and refugees to set out to the United States.

The migrant influx had forced Trump to declare that he will deploy military and close the southern U.S. border.

Trump warned he will carry out the threat if Mexico does not halt the caravan of Central America migrants heading north, thus raising the risk of huge disruptions to trade.
