US singer Jidenna attempts to answer why Nigerians are known to excel in all spheres of life including scamming

Nigerian born US singer, Jidenna has made an attempt to answer why Nigerians excel in all spheres of life including cyber crime.

The ‘Classic Man’ crooner who was a guest during an interview on the Breakfast Club on Monday while weighing-in on the recent arrest of 77 Nigerians by the FBI, said it all boils down to being smart.

According to him, Nigerians are smarter than a lot of people, hence the reason they excel in sports and other spheres of life including cyber fraud.

He said; ”The reason why Nigerians are known for scamming is not because we are bad people. It’s because we are smarter than a lot of people”.

Jidenna’s comments comes after Governor Emeka Ihedioha denied claims that one of the arrested FBI suspects, Chika Odionyenma sponsored his 2019 political campaign to become governor of Imo State.

Ihedioha denied the claims in a statement issued on Monday by his Special Assistant on New Media, Izuchukwu Akwarandu where he noted that those linking him with Odionyenma were only being “mischievous.”
