Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has started training with his new teammates at Spanish second-tier club Elche C.F, as he expresses his excitement.

The 19-year old joined his new teammates in training on Thursday following the completion of his one-year loan transfer from Deportivo La Coruna.

Uzoho was Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper at the recently-concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia, where the team failed to make it to the second round of the competition.

He could make his debut this weekend when Elche play against Reus on home ground.

“First day at work, I’m back for good,” Uzoho captioned a photo he posted on his Instagram on Thursday.

On the club’s website, Uzoho was quoted as saying: “I am very happy to be here. My dream is to be better every time, I come to work and learn.

“I am going to try to give the best of me, I have high expectations with the team.”

Elche are without a win this season, as they drew goalless with Granada in their opener and played a 1-1 draw with Osasuna last weekend.
