“Well, I hope Valencia can come to Nigeria someday. La Liga is hoping to have more Spanish teams go to Nigeria to build a good relationship with the League in Nigeria,” Hoon said.

Hoon also praised the fighting spirit of the NPFL All Stars side saying she was impressed with what she saw.

“They gave us a good fight. The Nigerian team is good. I noticed the fighting spirit.”

The last time a European side came to Nigeria was in 2008 when Manchester United and Portsmouth played pre-season friendly games in Nigeria with United playing Portsmouth who later played against Kano Pillars.
