Van Nistelrooy takes over as Leicester City manager

Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi and his Leicester City teammates will work under a new boss as the club have named former PSV Eindhoven manager Ruud van Nistelrooy as their new head coach.
The Dutchman takes over from Steve Cooper, who was dismissed last weekend after managing only 12 Premier League games with the Foxes.
Van Nistelrooy, according to reports from the UK, has signed a deal at the King Power Stadium that runs until June 2027.
His appointment follows his departure as interim head coach at Manchester United two weeks ago, a role he vacated after Ruben Amorim took charge.

“I’m proud, I’m excited,” 48-year-old Van Nistelrooy said.
“Everybody that I speak to about Leicester City is enthusiastic. They have great stories about the quality of the people working at the club, the supporters and, of course, the recent history of the club is impressive.
“I’m excited to start and to get to know everyone and give everything I can for the football club.”
Leicester are 16th in the Premier League, one point above the relegation zone, and go to Brentford on Saturday.
