The Family of the Late Moses Adejumo, popularly known as Baba Sala, has warned unsuspecting members of the public against falling for the tricks of some fraudsters who have opened an online account for the funeral of the comedian.

The eldest son of the comedian, Rev Bamidele Adejumo, who spoke in an interview with The PUNCH correspondent in Ilesa on Tuesday, said the family, contrary to the fraudsters’ claims, had not opened any account for the funeral of his father.

Bamidele, who is a cleric, said the family was embarrassed that some persons had opened a fake PayPal account and were soliciting funds from unsuspecting members of the public.

He, however, urged members of the public who wish to donate funds to the family to visit the residence of the late comedian in Ilesha, Osun State.
