Court halts APC's plan to hold indirect primary in Kogi

Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has given an insight into how things will be run in the 9th National Assembly.

The former governor of Edo State on Monday stated during a meeting with incoming House of Representatives members that the ruling APC was not ready to share power with the opposition in the National Assembly.

According to Oshiomohle, the APC will not allow what happened in 2015 to reoccur in 2019 as the party will need a collaborative legislature to provide good governance to the people.

According to Oshiomohle, the APC will arrive at a zoning formula that will be acceptable to all members at all levels after an extensive consultation with the President and leadership of the party.

“We will not share power with the opposition. We worked hard for our victory and we must reserve all the juicy posts for our members. The only office we will let go is that of the Minority Leader. Let PDP remain in the minority,” Oshiomhole said.
