RIVERS: Abe wins Amaechi at Supreme Court

Senator Magnus Abe has revealed what the Minister of Transportation and Director General of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Rotimi Amaechi, did to him that forms his grievance against him .

Abe, one of the aggrieved All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants and a serving senator representing Rivers South East constituency, said the height of his grievances with Amaechi was the minister telling him in front of his wife that he should not contest for the position of governor of Rivers State.

The Interview magazine, which quoted the senator of making this revelation, added that Abe said actions of the Minister of Transportation may hurt APC badly in the 2019 general elections.

Accusing Amaechi of running a one-man show, Abe had said, “My grievances with the transportation minister has nothing to do with him supporting me or not. I have told him clearly that he is free to support who he wants. My disagreement with him is that he said I should not run, and I said I would run.

“To come to my house, call me in front of my wife and tell me not to try contesting was the height of it. I said no, I would not accept, I would contest.”
