Why I don’t react to controversies – Wizkid

Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, has revealed why he does not react to controversies or snide remarks made at him.

The 30-year- artiste said in a recent interview with Journalists that other people’s opinion about him does not move him.

Wizkid added that he is concerned about his family, career, and personal life.

According to him, only a stupid person will try to prove a point to the world.

Wizkid said: “It’s very easy. Only a stupid man will go around trying to prove a point to the world and even at that; you’ll find that you can’t please everyone, that you cannot live off of people’s opinions.”

The father of three also spoke about his family and revealed his Valentine’s Day plans.

Wizkid is one of the most influential Nigerian artistes of his generation.

His style of music has been described as soothing, enthralling and innovative.

The singer has worked with numerous international acts such as Drake and Darmian Marley to name a few.
