Why Saraki must go, Sen Omo-Ogege insists

The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Ovie Omo-Agege, has said the Senate President, Bukola Saraki now belongs to the minority and must resign.

According to Imo-Agege, who spoke at an event in Emovor community, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, he insisted that Saraki knows he must resign.

The Senator also explained that those who defected from the All Progressives Congress, (APC) to the (PDP) have only gone back to their natural habitat.

“These are people who never supported President Muhammadu Buhari especially in the Senate, so we are glad that they are gone.

“Those who are left now are those who will champion the President’s course. We have no regret that they (the defectors) are gone.”

Speaking on the likely effect of the gale of defections from the APC, Omo-Agege said there is no cause for alarm.

“I can tell you it will all even out. As they are leaving, we also have people in PDP who are coming especially in a state like Kwara where those in APC left to PDP while those in PDP left to APC,” he said.
