Wizkid moves to settle case with Ugandan event organisers

Starboy honcho Wizkid according to reports is making moves to settle whatever issues he has with a Ugandan event organiser, Face TV which days ago received a warrant issued by the Buganda Road Court, directing the International Police (Interpol) and Uganda Police to arrest him.

Face TV obtained the warrant of arrest through its lawyer Fred Muwema of Muwema and Company Advocates after Wizkid failed to honour a December 3rd event which has US$60, 000 contractual commitment.

Wizkid who is currently tending to health issues in the US was however unable to attend the event after he cancelled all his engagements for December 2016 and January 2017 on the advice of his doctor.

When reached, his manager, Sunday Are said; ‘‘we’re on it, we’re talking to them, I need to know who sent it’’.

According to reports, over 25,000 Ugandans paid for tickets to attend the show at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala in anticipation of seeing one of Africa’s biggest performers to no avail.
