Wizkid pens deal with RCA Records/Sony International

Smarting from the success of his latest sing titled ‘Daddy Yo’, multiple-award winning Nigerian artist, Wizkid has put pen to paper in a mouth-watering deal with RCA Records/Sony Music International.

Announcing the deal hours ago, the international label posted a message on its Twitter time-line which reads thus; “Exclusive: WizKid (@wizkidayo) inks multi-album deal with @RCARecords/@SonyMusicGlobal”.

“It’s hard for me to describe what I do, since I work with rhythms from Afro-Beat, reggae, hip-hop, dance hall and others,” WizKid told Billboard in a statement. “What’s important to me is for music to be real, authentic, raw and timeless. I don’t wanna be boxed in to any one genre.”

Well deserved! He’s the only artiste in Nigrian music industry since D’Banj left. Wizkid’s impact is greater than any other musician in Nigeria.

During recession, Wizkid signed new international deal. This is more money for the entertainer and more international recognition for him. This is impressive I must say.

It’s a sorry case for you. If you hate him, you shouldn’t hate on his success. But, we don’t know you, in fact, no one knows you, so you can hate him, we don’t care.

Celebrate people’s success so you can be celebrated too. The guy is representing Nigeria in entertainment although singing rubbish and corrupting public morals.
