Woman detained in connection to death of N.Korean leader's brother
Police officials in Malaysia have apprehended a lady in connection with the death of Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean President Kim Jong-Un who died after he was reportedly poisoned following an attack by two suspected female North Korean agents.
According to police, the detained woman holds Vietnam travel papers even as efforts are underway to search for a “few” other foreign suspects in connection with the assassination of Kim.
According to media reports, Kim Jong-nam told medics before he died that he was attacked with a chemical substance by the two suspected female agents.
Reports say Kim was killed at an airport in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur on his way to the Chinese territory of Macau, where he had been living, after he was given protection by China.
Fingers are now being pointed in the direction of his brother President Kim Jong-Un with South Korean news agency claiming that North Korea had long prepared for the murder of Kim Jong-nam.
