Policeman shoots commercial bus driver who failed to give N50 bribe

A woman in her late 50s has been raped and killed at Okparabe Community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Her lifeless body was found in her farm by a search party comprising of youths from the community, a day after she was declared missing.

A police source, who confirmed the incident, revealed that a suspect in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the crime.

The police source at Otu-Jeremi Police Station said: “One person, a male in his early 20s, has been arrested in connection with the incident.

“The suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Asaba, having confessed to the crime.”
