Published

Work has resumed at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, following the suspension of the six week old industrial action embarked upon by the Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU).

The National Chairman, JOHESU, Mr Biobelemoye Josiah announced the suspension of the strike, following the intervention of Senate President Bukola Saraki.

A visit to the hospital yesterday showed that the complex which had been a shadow of itself for over a month was once again bubbling with life as workers moved about delivering services.
