WORLD CUP: Super Eagles arrive Russia in style

Less than four days before the 2018 FIFA World Cup kicks off, the Super Eagles of Nigeria finally landed in Russia on Monday night, with another internet-breaking outfit.

The players and their officials landed in their Essentuki base at around 11pm Nigerian time.

The team are expected to have their first training session on Tuesday, ahead of their opening game on Saturday.

All Nigeria’s Group D opponents already arrived Russia. Argentina and Iceland got in last Saturday while Croatia arrived earlier on Monday.

Gernot Rohr’s men will begin their campaign this weekend against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium.

They will face Iceland in matchday two on June 22, before battling two-time champions Argentina in their final group game on June 26.
